We decided that we weren’t going to be stuck inside all day, on went the layers and off we set for Java Nation in Kensington. Apart from the brutal winds the mile walk was quite pleasant.
Destination reached, now for coffee and a snack to fuel up for the walk home.
I was surprised to see an interesting selection of railway photographs at the McDonalds in Union Station. If you have a chance, pop in and have a look. Well worth the visit.

It has been a couple of months since I walked on the Capital Crescent Trail and there have been a few changes on the Downtown Bethesda part of the trail. The construction on the two apartment projects is nearing completion with the parking under The Darcy already open to the public and free till March 1st. The other change is the installation of a bike repair station – tools and air for those emergencies.
