It was a great afternoon for a walk around Kensington, a beautiful late autumn day.
There are only eight days left to go see the Richard Estes exhibit at the American Art Museum. Amazing work. Until you get up close they look just like photographs.
A few more panoramic images of DC. An early morning view of The Capitol Building followed by Pennsylvania Ave at the Canadian Embassy.
The White House
A few panos from yesterday’s photo walk in DC. The first one is Louisiana Ave near Union Station. The next one is looking up Pennsylvania Ave from near The Capitol Building.
Looking out from Children’s National Medical Center.
Michigan Ave, NW by McMillan Reservoir.
The Capitol Building and Reflecting Pool.
I headed out this morning to test a new Sony camera that I am thinking about replacing my Nikon with. When I planned this trip I didn’t realize that snow would be with us again.
While we didn’t get much actual snow it was still cold out.
After a few hours it was time to head inside and thankfully the Smithsonian Castle was close to provide warmth, power and COFFEE.
There is talk of 24″ to 36″ of snow in the upper Eastern states. Thankfully we are only expecting 1″ to 3″ here.
Part of the “Start Something New” campaign from Apple. Three of the six panels in the Bethesda Row Applestore are photography based.
A pleasant evening at Suburban Trading Co for Happy Hour. A little beer and wine, a couple of starters and dessert.
Going the long way round via Columbia Heights, Children’s National Hospital and Union Station on my way to the Fruit Stand in Bethesda.
