Apple has lined up four new mobile networks for the iPhone in Asia. The networks are in Singapore, India, Australia and the Philippines. The new deals add two more countries, India and Australia, were there will be non exclusive contracts to supply the iPhone.
SingTel will offer the iPhone in Singapore, Bharti Airtel will be the new provider in India, Globe Telecom in the Philippines and Optus in Australia.
That just leaves China and Japan as the two biggest markets in Asia without an official iPhone presence.
