iPhone 3G adds 20 new countries

Apple will be releasing the iPhone 3G in an additional 20 countries today. Those countries are:
Singapore, India, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Poland, Philippines, Hungary, Slovakia, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Honduras and Paraguay.
The most expensive country to buy an iPhone will be India were it is not subsidized. The 8Gb model will be 31,000 rupees ($712) and the 16GB version is 36,100 rupees ($828).
