Google Talk for iPhone

If you are a user of Google Talk and the iPhone you will be happy to hear this announcement from Google. They have released a new version of Google Talk designed specifically for the iPhone which runs in the iPhone’s browser.
To use this new version head over to www.google.com/talk and start chatting. Being browser based it will work on both the original iPhone and the new iPhone 3G.
With the App Store coming soon I do wonder if Google will release an application based version in the near future?
