Amazon buys Audible.com
Amazon agreed to buy Audible.com for $300 million. Audible has about 80,000 titles which will now be added to Amazons growing catalog of audio files. The interesting part of the story for iPhone users is that Audible provides audiobooks to the iTunes store. No doubt there are contracts in place with Apple so nothing should change in the near future but the long term could be interesting.
