We decided to explore an area of Liverpool that we haven’t visited much – Toxteth. The area has seen a lot of regeneration in recent years after decades of decline with a number of building being used for street art pieces.
It had been some time since we were at the New Bird Skatepark so we decided to check it out for any updates of the street art.
It was a bitterly cold but thankfully dry morning when we set off towards Maghull on the Leeds Liverpool Canal. A very pleasant 9 miles in the end except for the driving cold head wind from time to time.
A quiet Sunday morning walk across the fields and along the canal path in Maghull, Merseyside. We started and finished at Maghull railway station.

It was good to see a few different sights after spending so many weeks walking around the local streets.
Decided to try some different parks in the city to add a little variation on my lockdown walks. The first of the new parks was Allerton Towers.
